Rasululloh sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said,
دعوة المرء المسلم لأخيه بظهر الغيب مستجابة عند رأسه ملك موكل كلما دعا لأخيه بخير قال الملك الموكل به آمين ولك بمثل
"Indeed, the prayer of a Muslim to his brother when his brother does not know is a prayer that is obligatory (answered). On the side of the person who is going to pray for his brother, there is an angel in charge of praying for him. When he prays his brother with kindness, the angel will say: Aamiin. You will get like your brother earlier. " (Narrated by Imam Muslim, no. 2733)
A pious friend will always pray for his friend, because if he prays his friend, while his friend does not know, then the angel also guarantees the prayer while praying for those who pray earlier, meaning that those who pray also get what he prayed for his brother.
